The Subway Socceroos return to Canberra next month for the first leg of a two-match ANZAC Soccer Ashes series on Friday, 5 September at GIO Stadium.

It will be the seventh time Australia have played in Canberra and the first since March last year as preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ get underway. 

The Green and Gold have averaged 3.8 goals per game in the capital, including five victories - scoring five goals four times.
