Dylan Leonard is a highly-rated young centre-back who returns to the CommBank Socceroos set-up after first joining the senior squad ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

The 19-year-old emerged as one of the brightest young defenders in the Isuzu UTE A-League Men during his breakthrough season with Western United in 2025. His performances earned him a move to German giants Schalke 04, continuing his development in Europe.

Leonard is currently gaining senior experience on loan with Alemannia Aachen in Germany's third tier. Having already impressed Tony Popovic during his first involvement with the Socceroos, the defender will now be hoping to earn his senior international debut.
