Jacob Chapman is a Sydney-born goalkeeper who has earned his first CommBank Socceroos call-up following an impressive start to life with St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.

The 25-year-old spent time with Sydney United 58 and Marconi Stallions in the NPL NSW before moving to England in 2019 to join Huddersfield Town. He gained senior experience through a number of loan spells before making the move to Scotland.

Chapman has established himself with St Mirren this season, producing a number of eye-catching displays including a penalty save in a victory over St Johnstone and a six-save performance against Rangers. His strong form has now been rewarded with a first opportunity at senior international level.
