Having recorded two 'A' internationals with the Subway Socceroos between 1995 and 2001, Frank Juric joins Tony Popovic's backroom staff as Goalkeeper coach.
A highly talented shot-stopper in his own right, Juric's Socceroos career was limited due to the presence of Mark Schwarzer, Zeljko Kalac and Mark Bosnich. Juric burst onto the scene with Melbourne Knights in the National Soccer League in 1992 before eventually departing for Germany in 1997.
He signed with 2. Bundesliga outfit Fortuna Dusseldorf and spent two seasons there before topflight outfit Bayer Leverkusen secured his signature. The club had finished second to Bayern Munich the season prior and competed with the Bavarian giants for silverware during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He often served as back up behind Polish international Adam Matysek and then German gloveman Hans-Jörg Butt.
Juric was also on the bench throughout Leverkusen's incredible run to the 2001/02 UEFA Champions League Final, before losing out to Real Madrid in Glasgow. The goalkeeper subsequently had a stint at Hannover 96 but injury plagued by consistent knee issues.
He returned to Australia in 2008 with Perth Glory and later became the goalkeeper coach before moving into an assistant role at Melbourne Knights. Juric then was on the books of Adelaide United, Western United and Brisbane Roar as a goalkeeper coach.
