Can you believe it has been 20 years since THAT incredible 2005 night in Sydney as the Socceroos' defeated Uruguay on penalties to qualify for the FIFA World Cup™ for the first time in 32 years.

Australia, led by the legendary Dutch tactician, Guus Hiddink, overturned a first-leg deficit through Mark Bresciano's stunning finish to restore parity on aggregate. With little separating the two sides after 120 minutes, a penalty shootout ensued, and as they say the rest is history.
