Maty Ryan will bring a wealth of experience to his fourth FIFA World Cup™, potentially becoming the CommBank Socceroos most capped player in the process.

Ryan made his debut for the Socceroos back in 2012. The young goalkeeper made the experience of his first World Cup at Russia 2014 count when he was a part of the victorious AFC Asian Cup 2015™ side on home soil, winning the Golden Glove at that tournament. He was also in the Team of the Tournament at the AFC Asian Cup 2023™.

His club career has spanned the likes of Valencia, Brighton & Hove Albion, Arsenal, AZ Alkmaar and most recently Levante. He comes into the tournament off the back of outstanding form for Levante, where he helped them survive relegation with five clean sheets in their last eight games.
