Bio
Patrick Beach emerged as one of Australia’s brightest goalkeeping prospects after a breakthrough period with Melbourne City and the CommBank Socceroos.
Beach played a key role in City’s A-League Men Championship-winning 2024/25 campaign and, after representing Australia at the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2024™, received his first senior international call-up in 2025. He made an immediate impression on his Socceroos debut against Venezuela, earning Player of the Match honours after producing several impressive saves in a narrow 1-0 defeat.
His rise continued at the FIFA World Cup 2026™, where Beach established himself as Australia’s first-choice goalkeeper during their run to the Round of 32. He produced a remarkable eight-save performance and kept a clean sheet in the 2-0 victory over Türkiye on his World Cup debut, before finishing the tournament with two clean sheets across four matches. His performances in North America further enhanced his reputation and preceded a move to French side Troyes.
